Wintertime Fun

I took Hayden outside one morning after getting some snow, so I could shovel the driveway. I think she was having more fun rolling around on the shoveled driveway, then trying to walk in the snow. But I made her walk in it a little bit to get used to it again.

She kept asking me to carry her.

We tried the backyard the next day, but she didn't like walking in it that day either. Silly girl!

Daddy had all last week off from work. He was using the last of his vacation days to enjoy spending some quality time with us. So we took Hayden to the Children's Museum on Tuesday. She LOVES it there and it is a great place for her to burn off some energy in the winter! Mark had never been there before, so Hayden showed Daddy all of her favorite things.

After the museum, we took Hayden to Pizza Hut and we enjoyed a very yummy lunch! We had to bribe Hayden to get her to leave the museum without a fight by telling her she could have a christmas cookie when we got home! It worked!! HA!

This week has been so nice. We've spent more time with Daddy this past week then we did all year! (At least it felt like it). Even if it was just curling up on the couch watching a good movie, or eating dinner together, it was just nice having him around. Of course, Mark isn't Mark if he doesn't have some work to do. My Boss actually payed him to install a new bathroom vanity and sink in his house. So he even made a few bucks while he was off of work! :)
